Long Live Life Love. BT ArtBox

The iconic, red British phone box was originally designed by Sir Giles Gilbert Scott in 1936 to commemorate King George V’s Silver Jubilee. This year, to celebrate the Queen’s Jubilee, BT (the world’s oldest telecommunications company) commissioned 80 artists to re-style fibre-glass replicas of the original telephone kiosk.

Artist and sign maker Ryan Callanan’s somewhat ostentatious creation for BT ArtBox, features 23ct gold lettering diamond dust. The BT Artboxes are being auctioned through eBay and Sothebys to raise money the charity, Childline.
